Wellington Rugby Tournament
Congratulations to the Y5-6 and Y7-8 rugby teams who took part in todays rugby tournament. Although our boys lacked size, they played their hearts out. In terrible conditions the Y5-6's won 2 out of 5 with Max Crowley and Callum Hodson scoring two great tries each. Sam Bacon was also a standout performer ordering his troops around the field and making some try saving tackles.
The Y7-8 team did not have any wins, but enjoyed some close games against teams much bigger than themselves. Crosby Millar, Ben Rowan and Bailey Gibson-Hood each scored quality tries. There is a great deal of talent in this bunch of boys and I'm sure we'll see grest things from them in the future.
